We use almost no cookies. There are no advertising trackers. Analytics is off by default and only runs if you opt in via the consent banner at the bottom of the page.

This document describes Beanshoot’s current practice and is intended to be accurate. It has not yet been reviewed by counsel under GDPR (EU), the UK GDPR, or India’s DPDP Act, 2023. If you are relying on it for a procurement decision, please email hello@beanshoot.ai and we will share the reviewed version before contract.

The short version

  • No advertising cookies. We do not run ads and do not partner with advertising networks.
  • No third-party trackers. No Facebook pixel, no Google Tag Manager, no LinkedIn Insight Tag.
  • Analytics is opt-in. If you accept, we set one first-party cookie that records your preference. No analytics runs until that happens.
  • One essential preference cookie. When you use the banner we remember your choice so we do not ask again on every page load.

Analytics (opt-in)

If you opt in, we load Plausible Analytics — a privacy-preserving, cookie-less analytics script (~1 KB) that measures aggregate traffic. It does not set any cookies, does not use localStorage, and does not build cross-site profiles. The only data sent is the request URL, the referrer, your anonymised country/browser/OS, and the event name. You can revoke consent at any time via the footer link; the script is unmounted on the next navigation.

Browser storage

This site does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or Service Workers for tracking. Next.js may place a short-lived session cookie used for its own routing in edge cases; that cookie is purely technical and does not contain any personal data.

How to change your mind

You can re-open the consent banner at any time using the “Review cookie preferences” link in the footer, or by clearing the beanshoot-consent cookie in your browser settings. Declining analytics has no effect on site functionality.
